Abstract

Contextual Gaussian-process information and regression subset allocation each relate candidate estimates. Their decisive error can be a local membership reversal hidden by low average prediction error. Evaluation should preserve independent contexts and directly measure the favored boundary candidates. The benefit of borrowing remains conditional on the relationship between contexts and alternatives represented by the models. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
