An Input-Sensitive Group beside a One-Winner Loss Bound
Abstract
Top-group membership can move with the input distribution, while a bound for one selected design retains its own observation assumptions. Evaluation should state the retained object and common scenario-specific loss before comparing them. Independent group checks and input evidence are needed; the source bound cannot be presented as measured portfolio loss on unrelated records. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
