A Surrogate-Favored Plan and Its Defined Improvement Event
Abstract
Beam-angle search can find an attractive estimated plan, while improvement probability concerns a particular planning event under uncertainty. Independent recomputation is needed before the searched estimate supports that event. The evaluation should preserve planning objectives and baseline definitions, avoiding an inference from numerical improvement to an unmeasured clinical consequence. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
