The journal is published monthly, with one issue per month and twelve issues per year.

  • Natural and life sciences, mathematics and environmental research
  • Engineering, computing, data science and applied technology
  • Social sciences, economics, education, public policy and management
  • Humanities, culture, philosophy and interdisciplinary studies

Article types

Original research, review articles, methods papers, short communications and evidence-based perspectives.

Editorial assessment and review

Submissions are first assessed for scope, completeness and research integrity. Research manuscripts that proceed to external review are evaluated for the quality of their methods, the support for their conclusions and the clarity of their reporting. Authors must disclose competing interests, funding and any required ethics approval.
